Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and this little adventure I’ve been working on.

About 14 months ago, I stumbled across Ren'Py one lazy Saturday morning. I'm a big visual novel enjoyer—always have been—and for whatever reason, that morning, something just clicked. I thought: "What if I tried making one myself?" I had no experience in game development, just a lot of love for the genre and a sudden spark of motivation.

Since then, I've spent nearly every evening (after my full-time job) writing, learning, experimenting, and slowly piecing together what would become Kamogawa Island. It’s been a long, challenging, but incredibly rewarding process—learning how to use Ren'Py, writing the story, imagining the world, and figuring out how to present the game in the best way I possibly can.

I’ve been lucky enough to surround myself with a few incredibly talented artists who helped me bring the vision of Kamogawa Island to life. Without their work and enthusiasm, this game wouldn’t look half as good as it does now.

There’s still a lot to do, but I truly believe this is just the beginning. I have enough ideas to fill gigabytes upon gigabytes of data, and I plan to keep expanding this world as long as there's someone out there enjoying it.

That said, here are a few things I’m hoping to implement in future updates—both minor and major:

• 💕 Expanded Character Affection Screen – More details, more stats, and a better way to track your relationships.
• 🛠️ Expanded Resort Management – Build new facilities, hire new staff, and customize the resort experience.
• 🎯 Character Training Arcs – Some characters will get their own progression systems, with stats to manage and choices to influence outcomes.
• 🌴 New Characters & New Areas – The island is far from fully explored… expect new faces and places in upcoming updates.
